International Logistics Center ILC "Tashkent"

The reason for considering the establishment of the Center of Logistics in Uzbekistan was the policy conducting in the Republic of modernizing the economy, which pays special attention to development of transport infrastructure, which includes the establishment of logistics centers, contributing to the development of trade, both local and export, import and transit. The obvious example is the practice of international transport companies, which in recent years noticed the tendency of transition from the simple movement of goods to logistics, enabling to integrate the effective management of traffic in conjunction with the receipt, storage, sorting, processing and dispatch of goods.

Brief information about project ILC “Tashkent”

At the moment the company «Uzvneshtrans» is building a modern logistics center in the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. Implementation of the project is scheduled for late 2011 - early 2012. ICL "Tashkent" will provide a full range of services for handling, storage, customs clearance, cargo transportation, including the principle "door to door."
Total area - 184 000 m2
The center includes:

    4 сovered warehouse (hangar)
    2 container yards
    3 parking places for cars and 4 parking places for trucks
    fire station
    garage for loading and unloading equipment
    semi-underground tanks for water
    pumping and electrical substation
    railway lines

Location of ILC “Tashkent”

Besides the advantages of territorial access to transport links, location optimality of ICL “Tashkent” in Sergeli district is emphasized by great potentiality of the district. The district is an industrial zone where engaged large industrial companies, implementing export-import operations. District is optimally positioned relative to the city and region.
There are a lot of available lands for construction of new enterprises.

Transport communications are provided by a developed network of roads and railways of the industrial zone:

    2 kilometers from the main railway station Sergeli
    3 kilometers from the main ring road of Tashkent city
    7 kilometers from Tashkent airport
    43 kilometers from the northern border railway station Keles.

Main buildings of ILC "Tashkent"

1.    Warehouse of consumer goods - 10800 sq.m.
Warehouse is intended for rack storage of consumer and industrial goods on pallets.

2.    Warehouse with the freezing and cheeling cold stores - 7200 sq.m.
Warehouse with the freezing and cheeling cold stores (from +10 up to -40C) is intended for storage of goods requiring special temperature storage conditions: dairy products, meat products, fruit and vegetable products, pharmaceutical products and etc.

3.    Warehouse of cotton fiber - 10800 sq.m.
Warehouse is intended for storage of cotton, cotton lint, cotton yarn, cellulose and other similar goods.

4.    Warehouse-hangar - 10800 sq.m. with electric bridge cranes of 10 tons lift capacity.
Warehouse is intended for storage of long, oversized metal products and timber products, special equipment, heavy construction, prefabricated parts.

5.    Container yard - 11 200 sq.m.
Container yard is intended for processing and storage of laden and empty containers of different types.

The logistics center which will control and maintain the processes of transportation until delivery to the consignee and solve many problems of businessmen, including the document process and thus attract the attention of small and medium-sized business to use the facilities of the logistics centre.
